Engagement photo shoot is in my opinion very well allocated time and money in the whole wedding photography package. Yes, the ceremony, the first dance, the rings exchange and that epic first kiss are essentials to find right place in the wedding album. However, for the couple, those moments spent together and in far distance from the whole fuss about the big day are priceless. When people getting married it is all about their love, they want the photographer to capture all the emotional and unique moments and freeze their feelings to each other on beautiful wedding pictures. Planning for an engagement photo session seems to be a great idea in achieving a complete wedding album, a beautiful story about what is the most important in the marriage tradition, the bride and groom’s love.
Last week I had a great pleasure to photograph Klaudia and Pawel, a young couple getting married later this year. I know them both for a while, was shooting their portraits in the past, but it was first time I could do it as Birmingham Wedding Photographer. For the location we have chosen to start of Birmingham City Centre Canals near Broad Street and after move to Cannon Hill Park just a couple miles away. By combining such different locations for the shoot I was able to create some diversity in the style of pictures.
It was Sunday afternoon, so the paths in the centre were full of people. That fact didn’t stop us from taking out some lights and snapping a few great shoots having a good fun at the same time. In the park our models were even more relaxed and the intimate atmosphere allowed us to produce nice set of romantic portraits.
Thank you for reading my short article, and I hope you’ll enjoy the pictures as much as I do enjoy taking and presenting these to you.
